When God Isn't Green: Jay Wexler
We welcome back Boston Law Professor Jay Wexler to talk about his recent book, When God Isn't Green: A World-Wide Journey to Places Where Religious Practice and Environmentalism Collide, which finds him exploring the points around the globe where religion and environmentalism come into conflict.
We interviewed professor Wexler in our 2012 season episode, Religion and the Law.
In researching the book, Professor Wexler traveled around the world to exotic locations like Hong Kong, Singapore, and Miami, to look at local practices of religion and learn why they often run afoul of the interests of conservationists and environmentalists.
Like his previous work, Holy Hullaballoos, Wexler brings a mix of humor and legal insight to his writing that makes it both informative and fun to read.
