Keeping the Covenant: Rev. Katherine Willis Pershey

Keeping the Covenant: Rev. Katherine Willis Pershey

In this episode, we talk to Rev. Katherine Willis Pershey about her new book, Very Married: Field Notes on Love and Fidelity.

Long time listeners will recall that Rev. Pershey was a guest in our 2012 season, as well. You can listen to that earlier interview here.

"I want to talk about commitment - but I also want to talk about covenant."

In her second book, Katherine Willis Pershey delves more deeply into stories and themes she touched upon in her first book, Any Day a Beautiful Change.  As a wife, a pastor, and a mother of two, she is frank and open about her struggles, and the temptations she faces.

The result is a memoir and reflection on the meaning of marriage that Eugene Peterson calls "incredible."
