In this powerful interview, Dr. Fortin talks to host David Dault about his work, which seeks to understand the way prisoners in places like the German WWII death camps were able to maintain their humanity, and offer hope and humanity to others.

Dr. Fortin is Assistant Professor of Spirituality at the Institute of Pastoral Studies of Loyola University Chicago. He is the author of the book Grace in Auschwitz: A Holocaust Christology (Fortress Press, 2016), where he proposes a Christian theology of grace emerging from and corresponding to the Jewish experience of the Shoah.
