Spiritual Formation in Local Faith Communities: Neil Pembroke and William S. Schmidt

Five researchers from around the globe worked together to develop a powerful set of resources for faith communities, to help clergy and laypersons alike to create opportunities for faith formation.

The result is Spiritual Formation in Local Faith Communities.

Some of the important areas covered are early church approaches to spiritual formation, contemporary spiritual practices, spiritual character, the indissoluble link between spirituality and moral virtue, the spirituality of the pastor, and the positive psychology approach.

We talk to two of the authors, Neil Pembroke from Australia, and William G. Schmidt from the United States.
